I recently wrote a blog about burnout, neurodiversity, and the realisation that much of my career was shaped by not knowing I was autistic.
In it, I share the burnout cycle that repeatedly derailed my career and offer some thoughts for employers on how they can better support neurodivergent employees before burnout becomes a problem.
The challenge is, it doesn’t fit here in this blog and I’m currently looking for work, and publishing something this personal feels scary.
While I want to be authentic and honest about my experiences, I also know that once something is public, it can’t be taken back.
So I’m curious: If you were in my position, would you publish it now, save it for later, share it somewhere other than LinkedIn, or do something else entirely? I’d genuinely appreciate your thoughts and outside perspectives – please comment below.
